Mooie camping op een ruim opgezet terrein. Je loopt zo het bos in en naar het dorpje voor vers brood. Ook prima zwembad
Het kleine toiletgebouw had wat groter gemogen met bv extra mogelijkheid om je handen te wassen. Als er nu 2 mensen aan het afwassen waren, was er geen ruimte meer om je handen te wassen na een toiletbezoek. In de praktijk kwam dit niet vaak voor.

This was our third trip to the site (on the same pitch at our request), and we loved it as we always do! Very little has changed since we first visited in 2023 and that’s what we really like. The vibe of the site is so relaxed and staff are all lovely. We never feel rushed or hurried away on the day we leave which is a welcome bonus when not sailing back to the UK until 23:30 (appreciate that’s usually because we’re later in the season though). The site is well looked after, appears to run like clockwork and is just the most peaceful place to be. Really well done to Jane & Tim!
We would love to see a normal (1664) lager brought back to the bar if possible on draft. And also, a little bit more music playing from 6pm - this seemed a bit hit and miss this visit but does add to the atmosphere around the bar when having a couple of post pool drinks.

Tweede keer dat we hier waren. Mooie ruime plek en prachig gelegen in een park rondom een chateau. Alles ziet er top uit en beheerders steken er duidelijk veel liefde in. Wekelijkse marktje is leuk. Ook details als een gratis kopje koffie in de wachtrij voor de broodjes worden gewaardeerd

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à l'Orangerie, au calme, dans les bois avec toutes les infrastructures pour passer un super séjour! Merci

Mooi aangelegde charmante kasteelcamping met zeer schoon sanitair, vriendelijk personeel en lekker zwembadje. Rustig gelegen. Mooie locatie om o.a. een bezoek te brengen aan de steden in de omgeving, zoals Tours en Amboise. Op korte loopafstand van het dorpje, waar een leuk bakkertje zit.
In het badgebouw konden we geen afvalbak vinden.
Standplaats classique aan bosrand. Ruime standplaats, met de mogelijkheid om aan de bosrand in de schaduw te zitten, in ons geval, met de hitte, zeer aangenaam.
We misten de vuilwaterafvoer.

Le personnel est très sympathique .
Ne pas mélanger les campings car et les campeurs en tente. Isoler les caravanes et les camping car qui possèdes une climatisation car très bruyant. Vérifier auprès des possesseurs de clim la bonne utilisation , en effet laisser la porte ouverte de son véhicule lors de l'utilisation de celle-ci me parait exagéré. Enfin y parait qu'ils paient.
Emplacement très spacieux mais au soleil quasiment toute la journée.
Le sèche mains qui s'allume juste en passant devant, qui à mon sens devrait être désactivé en période de forte chaleur. Les horaires de l'épicerie ne sont pas en adéquation avec des personnes en vacances. Trop vite fermé. Manque de vrais dessert au snack.

Heel mooie verzorgde camping met heel ruime staanplaatsen. Het domein is werkelijk prachtig en er is in de buurt vanalles te doen. We verbleven er 2 nachten op doorreis maar zeker de moeite om ook langer te kamperen.
Prima standplaats. Water en elektriciteit vlakbij.

De camping is heel fijn, sanitair netjes en de camping heel gezellig. Veel activiteiten op en om de camping en er ging een relaxte sfeer. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, fijn dat ze ook Engels konden. Het zwembad was heerlijk!
De barrel had alles wat we nodig hadden, de bedden lagen prima en het was fijn dat de tent in de schaduw in het bos lag.
Een paar extra haakjes in de barrel en aan de overkapping zou handig zijn zodat we wat dingen op konden hangen. Ook misten we een waslijn.

Fantastic facilities, beautiful surroundings, regular special events, a connection with the local village, and access to all the Loire Valley delights. Absolutely loved staying here.

This was our third year at L'Orangerie, we enjoy it so much that we have been back two years in a row. Our little children (5 and 1) love it here. Because the pool is 'infinity style' in that the water is the same level as tbe side of the pool, it makes it easy for 5 year olds to get in and out of the pool. As ever, the actovities on this site are small but fantastic (pony riding, forest school, pottery painting, Monday market)
We requested a shady pitch when booking and this pitch was very shady. Pitch size also seems very generous.

Enthousiaste behulpzame eigenaren en medewerkers. Kleinschalige activiteiten met een goede sfeer.
Prachtige grote plek met goede voorzieningen.
De plekken hebben met lange warme zonperioden nog weinig schaduw. De pergola helpt zeker. Kom op boompjes!

We were so grateful for the pool!!! Our stay ended up being during another heatwave so we were so glad to be able to cool off everyday! Also getting to view the solar eclipse was awesome!
The pool does seem a bit small when there are a lot of people in it at once. Maybe enlarging it a bit would help with a pool slide on one side? We were a bit confused about the service in the Burger restaurant. Not sure whether they bring you the food or you have to get it yourself. The burgers needed some salt.
We loved having access to water and electricity (for the fans and coolers) especially during the heatwave and also having a shaded area.
Some other previous guests left some little pieces of paper and plastic trash on the site.

Heerlijk warm zwembad. Fijn dat de classic pitches een eigen watertappunt hebben.
Weinig gebruik gemaakt van de douches, omdat ze te heet waren en na 15 seconden alweer uitgaan. Activiteiten zaten snel vol. Misschien meer capaciteit voor de drukke maanden?

The campsite is gorgeous with beautifully restored buildings and just a 5-minute walk from the local village of Villedomer.
Perhaps consider opening the pool bar an hour earlier?
All needs had been considered; lovely large beds, dishwasher, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen and a lovely private garden with awning.
This property has a lot of stairs - fine for us but may not be ok for everyone.

Mooie camping met erg fijne, gemoedelijke sfeer. Prachtig terrein en leuke aankleding. Leuke markt op maandag. Vriendelijke mensen. Fijne "Celebration" op zondagmiddag. Ook voor tieners leeftijdsgenoten aanwezig op de camping.
In 1 van de toiletgebouwen was het douchewater niet altijd warm. Maar met de warme buitentemperatuur was dit geen probleem.
Heerlijke schaduwplek met mooi uitzicht.

Superbe camping ! Possibilité de se balader sur le domaine, jeux/piscine, restauration, bar et espaces détente pour tous les âges...chacun peut vivre les vacances de son choix dans un cadre très calme et en pleine nature.
