Staff extremely polite, courteous and exceptionally helpful.
Very good site - large ample size for car and awning, toilet and shower facility clean and great advantage in rainy conditions.
Waste water pipe positioned too high so waste water stayed in pipe and backed up. If pipe were cut down to about 10-15cm it would be much better.

What a fantastic place to stay. We reserved a pitch for our motorhome. It was extremely comfortable, with plenty of space and we especially liked the fact there was a private shower and toilet hut on the pitch itself. It was very level and surrounded by nature, making the stay extra special. The takeaway was an added bonus, the pizza's were delicious. All sorts of activities available from the campsite, along with discounts offered for other places in the local area. Great basecamp to explore the vendee region.
Fishing is available onsite, however there didn't seem to be too many areas to do so. We also found the waters to be quiet, no bites whatsoever, however the weather was very warm so may of had an effect on the fish. Other than that it was brilliant
Everything about the oith was perfect. He sanitary hut was extremely clean and the shower was great with good water pressure. Very private and convenient. Couldn't fault it at all.

It is always a delight to stay at La Garangeoire - a place which holds such fond memories for 3 generations of my family. It really is our home away from home!
Very pleased with our Taos, as always. Lovely to arrive to ready made beds and fresh towels and the dishwasher is a real bonus.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la tranquillité de ce camping, la verdure, les fleurs et le chant des oiseaux chaque matin.
Le panneau indicateur "La Garangeoire" sur la D21 en provenance de St-Julien des Landes n'est pas assez visible.
Tout était parfait, la propreté, la qualité de la literie, l'équipement de la cuisine, etc.

Le camping mérite un 5 étoiles il y a tout a disposition pleins d'activités et le petit plus c'est d'avoir eu un cabane équipée avec douche toilette et lavabo pour la vaisselle sur notre emplacement
Rajouter quelques poubelles dans les allées surtout quand on a des chiens qui font leur besoins pour y mettre nos sacs.

This has to be the best site we have ever stayed on. The site is exceptionally clean and has great facilities, including the swimming pool, restaurant and tennis courts).It's very peaceful and whilst it doesn't have internet across the whole site (centred around the reception area) the site did have a good mobile connection.
I can't think of any.
We stayed on the Pantheres pitch which was very spacious pitch, well laid out incorporating a wooden sanitary and kitchen facilities. It also came with a gas barbecue (bottle attached). We've stayed on other sites offering similar facilities but this one is definitely the best.

Toujours une agréable surprise, de trouver un camping aussi bien tenu, rien à redire. Le personnel est au top, très réactif. Hâte de revenir l’année prochaine.
Proposer en hors saison une option départ tardif. Bien sûr en supplément.
Le chalet est très bien équipé, on est comme à la maison. On n’est pas les un sur les autres. Vraiment agréable. Entretien intérieur et extérieur, absolument rien à redire.
Merci pour cette excellente note et pour vos compliments, que nous transmettons aux équipes d'entretien tout particulièrement. En ce qui concerne la possibilité de départ tardif, nous l'avons proposée gratuitement pour les 2 premiers week-ends de la saison. Malheureusement, il semble que vous n'ayez pas reçu notre message à ce sujet...

As soon as we drive up the drive way towards the house on the first day of our holiday we feel at home.
Larger umbrellas outside reception and the little bar to give more shade. We love having coffee in the morning and a drink here in the evening.

Très bien le four et lave vaisselle très pratique. Et surtout de la place de verdure pour jouer pour les enfants.

We have been visiting this site for over 20years and now our grown up children Brian their children. There is always a warm welcome from the staff, site is immaculately clean and there is everything you could need on site
Can’t think of any negatives apart from maybe more umbrellas at the pool
It’s a good size and is very well equiped
Most are in the shade which is ok in the height of the summer but we go in Sept

Our favourite campsite in France. We have visited 8 times already and booked again for 2026 We love the space, the vast walks. They way the mobiles aren’t crammed together. Love the rustic, easy going charm. Love the staff, seeing a lot of the same people year after year. Love the way the rules are enforced (re speed & noise) which makes a more relaxed experience.
A more varied menu in the restaurant. We love eating there but feel the menu is very limited so we tend to go to the restaurant in St Julien more often as they have an amazing menu. It can be crushing when I speak my (admittedly rusty) French to staff at the bar and they keep responding in English. I spent a year in France 27 years ago. I was completely fluent, which is gone now but I really love being able to practice for 3 weeks a year. It’s never an issue at reception, shop, small bar or restaurant just the pool/beer garden bar. Not a big deal but a small thing that would improve a stay
We book with Eurocamp. Always happy, love the space on the pitch
WiFi is shocking. Not a massive big deal but somtimes our (teen) kids just want to go home around 10pm & chill and watch Netflix for an hour

VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT OUR PITCH,WE PAID FOR A LARGE PITCH WITH TOILET AND SHOWER ,THE SHOWER WAS VERY SMALL AND FOUND IT DIFFICULT TO CONTROL THE TEMPERATURE. THE PITCH WAS VERY POOR WHEN THE RAIN CAME AND WOULD NOT DRAIN THE WATER AWAY.I DID ASK FOR SOMETHING TO BE DONE BUT PUTTING SAWDUST DOWN WAS USELESS WE SPENT NEARLY THREE WEEKS IN A VERY MUDDY PITCH ,AND HAD T PACK EVERYTHING AWAY COVERS IN MUD

Huge pitches in a lovely green, leafy setting. All the staff were very helpful and cheerful. Nothing was too much trouble. Clara in particular was great when we had a slight problem with our electric hook up. The facilities were exceptional, all showers, etc spotlessly clean and the swimming pool area was superb. The lake and lagoon areas were very peaceful and beautifully maintained.

The individual facilities were very clean and it was very helpful having a washing up area too, as well as a drinking water pipe.
Would be useful to have an exterior light above the washing up sink. We visited in September and some evenings it was quite dark by the time we washed up after our evening cooking.
