The site was really quiet when I stayed there, which was lovely. There was loads of space around the van which was great to allow my dog the freedom to wander a little.. The location is beautiful nestled in between the canal and the river on the edge of a lovely little town.
The only thing I could think of was the grass was a little bit too long? But it was at the end of the season.

Town was quiet enjoyable but the campground was disappointing
Grass cutting machine is obviously broken. Toilets and showers are in need of a little upgrade. They are basically good but need better lighting and new doors. Lack of regular cleaning is disappointing. The roadway was full of quite deep holes full of muddy water. This could be a brilliant site with a little maintenance and care. I genuinely do not like writing poor reviews and normally give good reviews

Lovely campsite right by the Loire very peaceful and short walk into the pretty town of Briare le Canal. Lovely hot water to wash the dishes. Reception staff were great and friendly

Generally very excellent staff!
The grass is a real problem throughout. It needs cutting and a heavy roll. Each morning very wet and making an absolute mess to my outfit. Pitches need better identification, other users just walking through the pitch. Also, although I understand the income that the resident workers bring, but quite unsettling with the large groups. After all it is a holiday camp!

Sur les deux cottages pas de papier toilette et dans l’un pas d’eau chaude.
Bonjour Mme Caffier, Nous avons été surpris par la note que vous nous avez attribuée, car nous avons toujours eu plaisir à vous accueillir chaleureusement lors de vos séjours. Si quelque chose vous a déplu, n’hésitez pas à nous en faire part par téléphone ou par e-mail : vos retours sont précieux et nous aident à nous améliorer. Concernant le papier toilette, il s’agit d’un oubli de notre part et nous vous prions de nous en excuser. Pour ce qui est de l’eau chaude, la bouteille de gaz était effectivement vide, ce que nous ne pouvions malheureusement pas anticiper. Toutefois, ces deux problèmes auraient pu être réglés rapidement si nous en avions été informés pendant votre séjour. Enfin, nous nous permettons de vous rappeler pour vos prochaines visites que le forfait ménage n’est pas inclus dans le tarif de location. Il est donc demandé, avant le départ, de retirer les draps, faire la vaisselle et vider les poubelles. En espérant avoir le plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau, Madeline et Eric

Der Platz ist sehr ruhig. Wir wurden durch die Rezeption gut betreut.
Die Entsorgungsstation für Wohnmobile ist etwas schwer zu finden und auch schwer zugänglich.
Die Lage sowie die Größe der Stellplätze hat uns besonders gut gefallen.
Die sanitären Anlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.
