We stayed at Ferme Noemie for a week of skiing. Location is excellent, it being 5 mins from Allemond which is 2 cable cars from central Alpe d'Huez. With the accommodation being in the valley it doesn't get the snowfall seen higher up which makes getting around much easier. A large Intermarche in Bourg makes self catering here a breeze. Melanie, the owner, leaves you to enjoy your stay but is available and responsive if any queries/issues.
We arrived at 6pm on New Year's Eve and found all of the supermarkets closed early. A welcome pack of basic foods for the first night would have been so appreciated (although acknowledge this wish is due to us not being able to food shop due to the travel date and time which most people would not encounter).
The Barn is beautiful and functional accommodation. The end one of 3 gites, we found Melanie had left it warm and welcoming for us, with heating and lights on. The ground floor comprises a spacious open plan kitchen/lounge/diner with a dining table and 6 chairs and a comfortable L shaped sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped, we were in need of nothing. The Barn sleeps 6 in 2 bedrooms and pillows/mattresses are really comfortable. The bathroom is on the ground floor. Despite being 30 seconds drive from the road up the valley, there is no noise heard from the traffic. We would def return.
So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I fully understand your New Years eve food shop dilemma, I did not think that you would have had a problem getting shopping in Grenoble on arrival as discussed. It was lovely to meet you and I hope you will return another time. Best wishes, Melanie

La situation géographique, facile d'accès, tous les services à juste quelques kilomètres. Beaucoup de ballades à proximité, pas loin de plusieurs stations de ski.

Good location just outside of Le Bourg d'Osains. Great cycle track by the river into the above and Allemond. Nice pitches on this small site.
Booking fee at 15 euros seems a lot. No information on arrival as to where to park as reception not manned

Thanks for leaving your review, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. Just to clarify our inter season reception working hours.. There is a blackboard outside reception that invites guests to pick a pitch of their choice. At the reception desk it is also on the blackboard that I am in reception between 9-10.00 and 17-18.00. I don't seem to recall you popping by during these times although I did see your wife and son on their way out one evening. Our booking fees are pretty standard, and does guarantee a pitch should we have been full. €18.00 euros plus €6.00 euros for your son per night is a pretty reasonable tarif. You struggle to get a pizza here for less than 14.00 euros! For info, we also like to depend on the honesty of guests to let us know if they hooked up onto the electricity (€6.50 per night) or not rather policing the electricity bornes as we fully understand that sometimes clients will need to put the heating on at this time of year, however our 'honesty box' system is important, most of the time it works, sadly sometimes it does not. Luckily, most people let us know.

Quiet but with simple, good facilities. Nice big pitches for tents with water and electricity. Best of all a secure locked bike room for lots of bikes. Very friendly helpful owners. Clean loos and showers. Views of mountains. Would definitely recommend!

The accommodation and facilities were excellent. The availability of a secure bike facility, fresh bread and pastries in the morning was great.
Everything was clean on arrival. All necessary cutlery and crockery was available.

A smalll group of us stayed for just under a week using the End Barn as a base for a cycling holiday. The location is great and the gite itself is well equipped and well presented with everything you need. When we had questions or needed support Mel was more than happy to assist with some great local knowledge. Overall another wonderful stay as we have used the facility multiple times over the last 6 years.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans notre van. Très agréable, calme et propre. L'emplacement est idéal, possibilité de rejoindre Bourg d'Oisans à vélo ou à pied :)

Merci pour votre avis. Je suis d'accord avec vous concernant le bac a tri (Jaune). Notre Comcom a retiré notre bac l'annee derniere en disent qu'il y a un meilleure tri (?) si nous allons avec notre recyclage vers les Moloks au fonds du chemin. C'est un dommage pour la commune. Wij hebben hier twee weken gestaan met veel plezier. Een mooie camping met vriendelijke eigenaren die hart voor hun camping hebben. Op de camping is verder niks, dat wisten wij, maar in de omgeving des te meer
Onze standplaats was prima, netjes verzorgt en onderhouden.
