Heerlijke camping met alle voorzieningen die ik nodig heb
De hoeveelheid water uit de douche is echt minimaal. Je haar wassen is dan een uitdaging
Lekkere ruime plek met zon en schaduw
Kan zo snel niks bedenken.

Camping is supernetjes Sanitair is keurig Ontzettend grote kampeerplaatsen (en die van ons wel echt megagroot) Heerlijke rivier aan de camping Voldoende te zien en te beleven in de omgeving
Bovenkant sanitair zou wat beter schoongemaakt kunnen worden (denk aan spinnenwebben ed.) Prullenbak bijv. vooraan camping voor hondenpoepzakjes (als je ze buiten camping hebt uitgelaten) Paardenpoep op strand niet echt fris
Supergrote mega kampeerplek met gelukkig voldoende schaduw (moesten soms wat verhuizen met onze stoel, maar dat was helemaal prima)

The campsite setting is beautiful on the banks of the river . The pitches are a large and mostly private - hedges screen and trees provide shade in the hot hot sun . Everything is very well maintained and cared for . The staff are helpful and friendly . Great little bistro on site . Great base in the Dordogne for exploring .
Restrict children in the larger pool - difficult to get a calm adult swim once the school holidays started - will definitely come before them next time !

We’ve just enjoyed our fourth stay at Port de Limeuil, and it never disappoints. It’s our favourite campsite because it’s small, friendly, and has everything you need without feeling crowded. The shop, bar, food, pool, and facilities are all excellent, and the relaxed atmosphere keeps us coming back. We always have a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it.
Our pitch was perfect, right on the river. Stepping out of the tent each morning to such a beautiful view was a real highlight of our stay. When we booked, we asked if our grown-up daughter’s pitch could be next to ours, and the campsite kindly arranged this for us, which we really appreciated. It made our family holiday even more special.

Loveliest campsite I’ve been to, couldn’t ask for a better location, the river is perfect to swim in. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and reasonably priced.
Located right on the river for the first time at this site and it was perfect, had the best view and still a short walk to the shower blocks and bar. Couldn’t ask for a better pitch!
Not disliked! However during a storm a massive tree branch fell next to our tent, perhaps a maintenance check or trim on the trees before a storm is forecasted can be carried out for safety reasons

PAS DE CLIM en ces périodes de canicule Pour prés de 1000 euros la semaine ça gâche le séjour et les nuits sont longues le bungalow soit disant super isolé ne suffit pas à adoucir la situation En fait la seule raison qui ne nous fera pas revenir chez vous ...

Another perfect our stay. Always amazingly clean and well kept Our favourite Dordogne site and a credit to the owners. We cannot wait to return again next year, 30 years since our 1st visit!!

We returned to Le Port de Limeuil again, and this time we brought our friends, and they were equally impressed by this fabulous site. It’s has just the right amount of activities and relaxation to suit our holiday needs and situated in a beautiful part of France that has stolen our hearts. The family should be extremely proud of what they have achieved there.
As I currently have limited mobility I have to use the disabled showing facility, which generally is superb. However there is only one suggestion I have; would be possible to have another seating option that would remain dry so there would be somewhere dry to sit when drying off and re-dressing. By the way this is a very small matter and is frequently missed within this type of facility wherever you go.
We were situated in a different part of the campsite this year but it didn’t disappoint. There was a good amount of shade and sun when you wanted it, and another lovely large pitch that quickly felt like home.

Wij stonden met de tent mooi aan de rivierkant. Grote plekken met veel zon en genoeg schaduwhoekjes. De camping is sfeervol ingedeeld, met veel groen. Personeel is vriendelijk en zij spreken veelal ook engels. Ontspannen en kleinschalig. Helemaal niet 'schreeuwerig'. Deze houden we zeker in gedachte om nog eens terug te komen!
Helaas was de wifi verbinding erg slecht, het heeft ons veel mb's gekost... En de rivier is heerlijk om in af te koelen, maar echt zwemmen kan niet; deels door te harde stroming, deels doordat het op andere plekken niet diep genoeg is. Wij hebben ons goed vermaakt, er worden ook veel leuke activiteiten georganiseerd. Voor jong volwassenen is de camping wellicht iets te rustig hoewel er ook een bar is met pooltafel. Persoonlijk had ik graag gezien dat er standaard meer vega/vegan gerechten op de menukaart zouden staan maar ze hebben de gerechten met alle liefde voor ons aangepast.
Een mooie plek aan de rivierkant. Er stond een kraantje naast de tent en elektriciteit. De plekken zijn ruim. De auto kon blijven staan en we hadden zowel zon als schaduwplekken. Omringd door bomen, mooi groen en een prachtig uitzicht op de Dordogne en het kleine dorpje Limeuil aan de overkant van de rivier. Rustig ook, geen hinder van wegen etc..
Er zaten hier en daar wat onevenheden op de kampeerplek maar dat was overkomelijk.

The peace and solitude of tha campsite was great and enable us to settle down to a slower pace of life.
Maintenance of trees / hedges around tge pitches could be improved.
We requested a shady pitch , due to the heatwave, and were given No.44, which was excellent - Well done.
Loose gravel / stones on the roadways could do with brushing to remove the potential hazard, especially for smaller children.

Mooie ruime camping plaatsen, vriendelijke personeel, goed verzorgd en heerlijke koele zwembad. Restaurant en winkel goed verzorgd en betaalbaar.
Rivier had sterke stroming, mag vermeld worden op de site!
Ruime opzet, veel privacy, goed bereikbaar en voldoende plek voor auto.

some pitches bigger than others the restaurant is more of a snack bar - not gourmet dining (if that's your thing)

J adore ce camping il est très bien équipé, bien entretenu, le personnel est sympathique et la piscine est top. A deux pas de limeuil et de la Dordogne tout est rassemblée pour passer un bon sejour.

Absolutely fantastic site for so many reasons- great location,super friendly and helpful staff nothing too much trouble, they’ve thought of everything, super clean facilities, next to the river, best pain au raisin for weeks- we will be back
