The location, the facilities the restaurant and the pool were all great and we would stay here again in the future.
More pitches with personal water connection would be a bonus
The site itself is very pretty and very well located for exploring the area. The shop and restaurant were great. The lady on reception was lovely and helpful.

Eventually we were allowed to move pitch as the one we had was dark and by the old toilet block which is really not good. Once we had moved to the rear of the chateau we were fine and would return.
Pitches in front of reception have low overhanging trees making it difficult to access pitches. A number of pitches we were told were reserved for that evening but the whole trip no one was on them.
Lovely wide open pitch with 10amp which was better than the front pitches at 5amp. Toilet block new and very clean

This is the second time we have stayed at Chateau De Martragny and like the first time it was just what we needed. Set in beautiful grounds the site is quiet and relaxed, the camping and caravan pitches are set out in an informal way so you can set up as you please. The facilities are spotlessly clean, fairly new, and plenty of them. The onsite restaurant /bar serves delicious meals at a very fair price, great in the evening after a day exploring the surrounding area. Fresh bread and pasteries in the small shop every morning. I think you get the picture? we loved it.
Well looked after grounds, informal pitches so suit yourself. very roomy and none are far from the facilities, shop, restaurant or swimming pool.

Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und die Nähe zu besonderen Sehenswürdigkeiten war gut. Das Restaurant war sehr gut. Service war sehr freundlich
Das Stromnetz hatte einige Schwankungen. Teilweise hatten die Duschen nur kaltes Wasser

We have been to this site for many years with our children, we took a couple of years away from visiting france, due to covid and big family celebrations. Our children are all grown up so we decided to bring our campervan here, just my wife and I, hoping that things would be as perfect as they always were, we were not disappointed, the site is still as perfect as we remeber, from the lovely staff to the pitches, everyrhing is so clean and such friendly staff, this is the perfect place to, stop relax and unwind from lifes busy schedules. We will be coming back.

Lovely to stay in the grounds of a chateau. Very well looked after 5* site in short driving distance to the ferry ports of Caen and Cherbourg. On site shop and restaurant were good...probably one of the nicest meals eaten at the campsites we stayed in. Nice that there are no static caravans.
Barriers at the entrance /exit to the site, but otherwise perfect
Good sized plot, grassy and well maintained...hedges for privacy. A little shaded if you like the sun, but there were other more open plots to go to for that.
Nothing....it's a bit more expensive than usual sites in France, but worth it in my opinion

The stunning beauty of the chateau and grounds. Good bike rides to Bayeaux and Creully. About 15 k return, mostly flat. Gorgeous swimming pool Good takeaway pizza and chips
Steak and veal dishes inedible sadly. Shop very limited

No one on reception knew where the electric hook up was. We ended up using 2 long leads to a socket designated for a tent

Der Raum zum Spülen ist sehr stark in die Jahre gekommen, teils kein heißes Wasser und defekte Wasserhähne, Chemie-Toilette überholungsbedürftig,

Per toeval boekten wij deze camping en wat een geweldige keus bleek dit te zijn. Mooie ruime beschutte kampeerplek, zelf uit mogen kiezen waar je wil staan. De keuze was erg moeilijk, omdat het terrein zeer uitgestrekt was. Alles zeer verzorgd, zwembad prima, sanitair meer dan prima. Ook een restaurant aanwezig op het terrein, kortom alles aanwezig wat je wenst.
Geen slagbomen bij de ingang, zodat iedereen vrij toegang tot de camping heeft en er geen zicht is op “ongewenste” bezoekers Een stukje veiligheid inbouwen voor de gasten zou welkom zijn.

De enorme ruimte rondom het kasteel. Het is prachtig aangelegd. Met verschillende grasvelden Wij hebben gefietst naar de stranden 20 km. En naar Bayeux 10 km Een echte aanrader.

We liked the choice of pitches; the driveway up to the chateau was spectacular. The showers and toilets were clean and the site was kept tidy. We particularly liked the bread and pastries each morning
