From the moment you arrive you are made welcome. This campsite is well maintained,beautifully laid out with excellent facilities. The area around the chateau is lovely with a terrace where you can relax with a glass of good wine! There is a pool set in a lawn and a great children’s play area set apart from the camping. Bread and croissants available every morning and they are good! Nice clean toilet block and showers and a great restaurant too! Fully deserves its 5 star rating. We will be back!

It was extremely hot during our first few days and air conditioning would have been welcomed but other than that, it’s fantastic.

We loved our stay in the petite orangerie. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, well equipped home. The campsite was well maintained with lots of activities for the children. Thank you!

Regarding the sanitary facilities, our cleaning team works regularly throughout the day, but during the busy high season, with so many people using them, it can unfortunately be difficult to keep them spotless at all times. Douches, boiler was drie dagen stuk. Er was een vervangende doucheunits voorzien, maar was niet zeer comfortabel.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. Regarding the temporary showers, we are aware that they did not offer the same level of comfort as our usual facilities. Unfortunately, our boiler broke down in the middle of the high season, so we had to quickly find a temporary solution to ensure that our guests could still have access to hot showers while the necessary repairs were being carried out. As for the dust, the paths throughout the estate are indeed unpaved in order to preserve the natural and authentic character of the grounds. With the drought and high temperatures, they can unfortunately become particularly dusty during the summer. We are sorry that these issues affected your stay and thank you for your understanding.

De camping heeft een authentieke uitstraling door het chateau. Mooie ruime plaatsen en verzorgd schoon sanitair. Mooi zwembad met ligbedden. Leuk barretje waar je wat kan drinken en een leuk restaurantje. Kortom, een zeer aangenaam verblijf.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Chateau! The staff was welcoming at all times, the ground are absolutely beautiful and so well-kept with a 'cosy' feeling. We loved the daily morning boulangerie stop at the Chateau, the kid loved kids club and our cabin in the woods was perfect! We even were helped in such a swift and kind way when we forgot something behind. We shall definitively be back!
We wish that kids club was longer/that there were more opportunities for them to enjoy themselves with other kids at the Chateau!

A lovely chilled and relaxing place to stay, a large pitch, with plenty of space to relax. Lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.

Het chateau als middelpunt waar iedereen welkom is, goed sanitair en ruime standplaats maakten ons verblijf heel fijn
De zanderige paden waren moeilijk te belopen en het fijne grind was ook niet prettig op slippers
Water bij de tent was fijn, omdat het sanitair wel ver lopen was

Thank you very much for your very positive message and for sharing your experience with us. Regarding the motorhome service area for grey water, it is regularly inspected and cleaned. However, many campers still confuse the grey water disposal area with the chemical toilet disposal point. We will be even more vigilant in the future. 😉

De grote kampeerplekken op ons veld was erg fijn; het was er ook erg rustig.
Veel achterstallig onderhoud aan groenvoorziening waardoor bomen verpieteren en doodgaan.Er zal flink gesnoeid en gekapt moeten worden en klimop en mos verwijderen van bomen. Direct naast onze plek brak een grote kruin uit een hoge boom terwijl het nauwelijks waaide. Het restaurant viel erg tegen voor een kasteelcamping: de menukaart was redelijk beperkt, het personeel niet erg gastvrij en professioneel, het moest allemaal erg gehaast. Sanitaire voorzieningen zijn beperkt. Toen warm water uitviel duurde het erg lang voordat er mobiele douches kwamen; geen heldere communicatie hierover.
Zoals eerder gezegd: de kampeerplek is erg groot, watervoorziening uitstekend en de stroomaansluiting dichtbij.
Enkele keren viel de stroom uit maar gelukkig herstelde zich dit snel.

With the drought, water restrictions and high temperatures, it has been very difficult to maintain the green areas and keep them looking their best. We had planted many new trees, but unfortunately, a number of them did not survive the heatwave. Despite regular watering, we lost many trees, which has been a significant loss for us. Regarding the restaurant, we will of course pass your comments on to the manager. Fortunately, the overall feedback about the restaurant has been positive, but your comments are important to us and will be taken into consideration. As for the hot water, the situation was unfortunately beyond our control, and we did everything we could to resolve it as quickly as possible. In the middle of August, many companies and technicians are on holiday, which made it more difficult to get a quick response in an emergency. During this period, however, you could use the “family” shower or the accessible shower, as both have their own independent water heaters.

De campingplaatsen zijn ruim opgezet. 's Nachts zeer mooie sterren hemel (weinig tot geen lichtvervuiling)
Meerdere keren Muziek op de camping met meer dan 90 dB tot zelfs na 00.00, terwijl specifiek de nachtrust vanaf 23.00 zou ingaan (stilte), 23.00 stilte werd ook specifiek aangegeven bij aankomst. Daarnaast meer dan 1 week zonder warm water op de camping, warmwatervoorziening was kapot tijdens hoogseizoen deze kon niet meer gemaakt worden (meerder busjes zien rijden elke dag) uiteindelijk na 1 1/2 week noodunit met douches geplaatst. Hier had sneller op geacteerd moeten worden ook gezien het hoogseizoen betreft. Afvalscheiding zeer slecht aangegeven, op de containers staat bij rode hek!!
Mooie, ruim opgezette plekken. Bij warme dagen zeer blij met schaduwplek.
Te grote afstand tot sanitair voorzieningen.

However, in the future we will make sure to monitor the speaker volume more carefully, as sound tends to carry quite a lot from the terrace. Regarding the hot water, unfortunately our boiler broke down right in the middle of the high season. Several technicians came to try to identify the fault and understand the problem. We replaced several parts and even travelled to Angers to collect one ourselves, but unfortunately this did not solve the issue. Although we hoped the boiler could be repaired, we immediately ordered mobile shower units from a specialised company. These were delivered as soon as possible. Please understand that during the peak holiday season, many people and businesses are less available, which made it more difficult to get a quick response to our requests. We are very sorry about this situation, but what happened was beyond our control, and we did everything we could to make sure everyone could have access to hot water. We completely understand your frustration regarding this issue, and we are grateful that the majority of our campers were very understanding. During this period, it was also possible to use the “family” shower or the accessible shower, as both have their own independent water heaters.

We immediately ordered mobile shower units from a company, which were delivered, and the hot water is now working again. We are very sorry about this situation, but unfortunately it was beyond our control, and we did everything we could to make sure everyone had access to hot water. Thankfully, many campers were very understanding and supportive during this difficult situation. You could also have used the “family” shower or the accessible shower, as both have their own independent water heaters. As for the prices, they were displayed, but perhaps this campsite simply isn’t the right fit for you 😉
