A lovely and relaxing campsite. We stayed in one of the cabins, which was clean and peaceful. The site is conveniently located close to many attractions. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Fly nets for the food, as well as on the doors and windows, would help keep most of them out.

What a great campsite, exceptionally clean and well looked after, new toilet block with showes excellent. We had a problem with our motorhome and Delphine was on hand to translate for us and Laurent accommodated us with staying extra night. Pool an added bonus, we had a meal at the snack bar which was lovely and there is a order services for fresh bread/croissantsfor the following day. Free wfi too. We will definitely be back.

We have had our caravan in storage from 2019 for and have visited as regularly as possible since then. The site is so peaceful, couldn't ask for better. Unfortunately this year due to family circumstances we have had to bring our caravan back. Thankyou to Delphine and Laurent for amazing times at Camping Le Picard.
Very large pitch with so much room

De camping is klein, maar heel schoon en gezellig. De eigenaren zijn heel erg vriendelijk en helpen je graag. Als je (kampeer)spullen niet nodig hebt, kun je ze altijd lenen. Er is een klein verwarmd zwembad en een klein barretje. De toiletgebouwen zijn altijd schoon en er is altijd warm water. Een van de twee gebouwen is afgelopen zomer helemaal vernieuwd en de andere grotendeels ook en heeft heerlijke regendouches. In de omgeving is meer dan genoeg te doen en het is goed aan te rijden met de auto.
Plek was goed. Je kon ‘s ochtends in de zon ontbijten en in de avond kon je ook heerlijk in het zonnetje zitten. Er was genoeg schaduw op de warmere dagen.

Loved the warm friendliness of both Laurent and Delphine. Just the right size for us and perfectly placed for visiting attractions.
The site is obviously being updated as and when the owners can. My only criticism was the restaurant was only open on rhe evening of our arrival and fully booked. Very disappointing after being advertised in club brochure. A warning about seasonal openings could be useful for people not aware of local variants.

Just to explain a bit about the bread: since it's only the two of us running everything — reception, maintenance, cleaning and the snack bar — we can only make bread available from 9 a.m. We know that might feel a bit late for some, so of course you're always free to go to the local bakery earlier if you'd like. It's just an extra service we try to offer when we can. As for the plastic mattress covers, we use them simply to keep the mattresses clean and hygienic for everyone. Just to let you know, there is a compost bin in the waste disposal area, and we’ve also placed a small organic waste bin near the sinks for guests to use. We take care of emptying it into the main compost ourselves, as we noticed that compost sorting wasn’t always being done properly before. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour dans ce camping qui est à la fois agréable, paisible et reposant.Cela correspond parfaitement à la description sur le site internet, et nous avons reçu un accueil très chaleureux ainsi que de bons conseils dès notre arrivée.Nous avons logé dans un ravissant cottage,très bien situé, parfaitement conforme à ce qui est mentionné. Le cottage était très bien équipé, confortable et d'une propreté.La terrasse est très bien aménagée et très bien abritée, ce qui nous a permis de manger dehors malgré les quelques jours pluvieux.Au top

Heerlijke vakantie gehad op camping Le Picard. Laurent en Delphine doen er alles aan om er een onvergetelijke vakantie van te maken. Sanitair wordt 3x per dag schoongemaakt. De stortdouches zijn fantastisch en het water is goed heet. Ook voor de afwas. Er is een lekker zwembad om af te koelen, speedo verplicht en er staan voldoende ligbedden. Iedere ochtend vers brood, voor 18:30 uur bestellen. En er is een restaurantje op de camping op vrijdag en weekend open met kleine kaart met meer dan genoeg keuze.
De gratis wifi werkt maar de ontvangst is zwak.
De plekken zijn ruim en afgebakend met haagjes. Omdat wij een kleine caravan hebben konden wij de auto bij de plek hebben. Voor andere is er een parkeerplaats gereserveerd. Stroom en waterpunt is makkelijk in gebruik.

Regarding the WiFi: although we do have fiber internet, the overall bandwidth available in our rural location is not very high. As WiFi works via radio frequency, the more users connected, the weaker the signal can become. The best reception point on the campsite is near the pool area, where the signal is strongest. We’d also like to let you know that during July and August, the restaurant will be open every evening, not just on weekends, and still offers a small but varied menu to enjoy. What a gem of a site this is . From the moment you arrive you are made to feel really welcome. The pitches are flat and a fairly good size . The toilet and shower block had been upgraded this year . Spotlessly clean as always . Fresh bread is delivered every morning. There is a small swimming pool that is heated, and if you happen to be staying over the weekend then do try the restaurant. Its very good . We will return .

only stayed the one night as was catching ferry. but a great friendly site stayed a year ago and was impressed. they have now improved by adding new toilets and showers and service area, will definitely be returning. best location for exploring the Normandie coast

We had a great pitch on a very nice place on the campingsite.
At the campingsite and area there are realy much pigeons and other birds. During our stay they shit our car and caravan completely. So, dont put your car on a place without trees.

Unfortunately, while we try our best to make everything perfect for our guests, organizing a "ball trap" or pigeon patrol is a bit out of our scope (and possibly illegal 😄). We are busy all day, making sure humans are happy — but we have yet to convince the birds to follow campsite rules! Verkennen van de Normandische kust alwaar de geallieerde in ww2 aan land gekomen zijn. Camping le Picard is een rustige camping met mooie afgebakende plekken. Gastvrij ontvangst. Vanuit de camping kun je in een straal van 30 km alle “highlights”bezoeken, alle beaches , musea en begraafplaatsen. We hebben veel met de fiets gedaan. Langs de kust loopt een fietspad/weg langs vele highlights: voie verte liberte, een aanrader.

Wat een heerlijke camping en alleraardigst echtpaar die alles zelf runnen en dit met veel plezier doen. Mooie ruime plekken met een afscheiding van een heg. Sanitaire voorzieningen waren ook goed en zeer schoon, er werd zeker 2x daags gepoetst. De camping ligt erg centraal voor allen bijzienswaardigheden van de invasiestranden, en na een dag op pad heerlijk afkoelen in het zwembad.
