Regarding the swimming shorts, we’re sorry if this came as a surprise. The rule is clearly mentioned on our website under “Our Activities”, in the email sent before arrival with all the information to help our guests enjoy the best possible stay (perhaps it went to your spam folder), in our welcome booklet and on the pool regulations sign. Dear Mr and Mrs Edge, Thank you very much for your lovely review and for appreciating the calm atmosphere of our little campsite, as well as our efforts to make your stay enjoyable. We are delighted that you enjoyed the Fish & Chips evening and that our location was ideal for visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches. Regarding the points you mentioned, we would just like to add a little context. Due to the particularly dry conditions during your stay, barbecues were temporarily prohibited, and this was explained to guests on arrival, as a safety precaution. For ball games, we do have a dedicated play area, and we do our best to remind children when they are playing too close to the pitches. Unfortunately, we cannot supervise every corner of the campsite at all times! We sometimes feel a little like campsite police 😊. Your comment is nevertheless useful, as it reminds us that playing football near the pitches can be a real nuisance for neighbouring campers, and we will make this clearer to everyone. As for the flies, this is one of the little challenges of being in the countryside! We do have a UV fly lamp in the café, although we agree that it is not always enough, especially at certain times of the year. Thank you again for your kind words and for your constructive comments. Chère M et Mme Mahé, Merci beaucoup pour ce joli retour ! 😊 Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié le calme du camping, la propreté des sanitaires, votre emplacement ombragé et, bien sûr, notre accueil. Pour la piscine, elle est actuellement à **27 °C** 🌡️. Avec des températures extérieures autour de 31 °C, il est vrai qu’elle peut donner une petite sensation de fraîcheur 😅… mais c’est justement son rôle en plein été : permettre de se rafraîchir ! 🏊‍♀️☀️ Nous faisons également le choix de ne pas augmenter davantage sa température, par souci de consommation d’énergie et pour rester cohérents avec notre démarche environnementale. 🌿 Au plaisir de vous accueillir à nouveau pour une nouvelle parenthèse au calme en Normandie ! 😊 Cordialement, Delphine & Laurent

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased that you appreciated our warm welcome, the cleanliness and modern sanitary facilities, as well as our location close to the D-Day beaches. Regarding your pitch, our campsite has 39 pitches, and naturally not every one of them can offer a view. As shown on our website, our pitches are between 80 and 100 m². The pitch allocated to you was around 80 m², which is generally more than adequate for a folding caravan of around 15 m² and a car. You booked just three days before your arrival and requested a shaded pitch. We were happy to accommodate that request, but unfortunately, at such short notice, the few pitches with a view had already been reserved by guests who had booked much earlier. We always try to match our guests' preferences as best we can, depending on availability. We were also surprised by your comment about parking. Had you mentioned any difficulty during your stay, we would have been happy to help and could have suggested nearby parking if needed. Finally, regarding the grass, this summer has been exceptionally hot and dry across France. Despite all our efforts to maintain the grounds, grass simply cannot stay green under such conditions, which is unfortunately beyond our control. We are sorry that your stay did not fully meet your expectations, but we hope future guests will appreciate our peaceful campsite, spacious pitches, and the efforts we make every day to provide a warm welcome and well-maintained facilities.
