Lovely location in a lovely region. Very peaceful for the perfect rest. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant are good quality at completive prices, over looking a fine clean pool. The on-site facilities are very clean, with each pitch - all an ample size, having fresh water, electricity and waste water drains. The whole site is within an 'Black Triangle', where you can view the stars without any light disturbance. Sit down, enjoy a drink and look upwards at the most fantastic light show from the heavens.
Lovely size pitches, all having fresh water, electricity and waste water drains. All maintained in a perfect condition, and not subject to flooding in case of rain. Choice of Sun in the morning or afternoon so suit your needs

Es un lugar maravilloso. La piscina es estupenda y la dueña y el dueño super amables y muy simpáticos. Estuvimos maravillosamente. Pudimos reservar el desayuno y el pan siempre que quisimos y las cenas estupendas. Todo estaba muy limpio.

We have stayed here before and will do again. Stuart and Sheila are lovely hosts, it’s a great location, excellent food and with the comfort pitch we enjoyed exploring this beautiful part of France.
WiFi and internet is absolutely fine at the pool and terrace but poor at the pitches.

Heerlijke camping, fijn terras en zwembad. Prima eten door Sheila, vooral de gazpacho was mijn favoriet. Erg aardige en vriendelijke eigenaren (Stuart en Sheila) en medewerkers (Richard en Patricia).
We mochten zelf een plaats uitkiezen. Alle plaatsen hebben een stroomaansluiting, water en waterafvoer.

A large site with large pitches and so very quiet. Nothing to hear apart from the birds. Very friendly owner, good bar and excellent swimming pool.
We picked a sloping pitch, our mistake as we could have gone anywhere.

Set in beautiful surroundings with little to interrupt the peace and tranquility apart from birdsong and the occasional sheep. The pool was welcome relief from the heat of the day. The staff were extremely helpful and made some great recommendations for places to visit. The site was spotlessly clean and well managed.

Les gérants, malgré ce que certaines personnes mal intentionnées prétendent sont des gens charmants et tres sympathiques. L'endroit est calme et tres bien situé. La grande piscine est un atout indéniable. Les pizzas sont tres bonnes . Si vous aimez le bling bling c'est endroit n'est pas pour vous.
L'endroit est un peu vieillissant, mais cela fait aussi son charme ..

We have stayed twice before but that was around 10 years ago. Stuart and Sheila have done a great job of keeping the site in good order. Adult only sites are difficult to find in most countries let alone France. Easy to access from the A20 and there is plenty to see in the area (Rocamdour etc).
I think its just about right so no real improvement is required in my opinion.
Good size, flat, water and electricity on the pitch. We were able to choose our own pitch as it wasn't full.

De camping lag heel mooi, in de middle of nowhere en het was heel rustig. Wij vinden dat heel fijn. Voor anderen was het te stil. Er waren heel weinig kampeerders. Het was wel schoon.
Er was achterstallig onderhoud (zwembad) en de douches waren gedateerd. Het restaurant en de bar waren dicht. Je kon wel iets te eten en drinken krijgen maar dan moest je dat zelf aangeven. En er was geen mobiele dekking in dat gebied.

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, unfortunately for you , you were our first and only guests to arrive on opening day, however you expected a fully a la carte restaurant !! We explained that if you would like to eat at anytime you only had to ask and we would cook for you. The bar was open every evening from 1900hrs, which was also explained to you on your arrival, however ,not once did you come near the bar or the terrace other than to use the internet, which is offered free of charge as there is no mobile coverage. We supplied you with full details of all the local tourist attractions and places to visit, however you told me that you knew the area and weren't interested in what I proposed. So from a campsite owners point of view, you are not interesting guests, as it was not possible to interact with you! Yes, I know we not supposed to write things like this, but why not, you can criticiseus and our campsite, so why shouldn't we be able to do the same.

We found the site to be very quiet during our stay, with only four pitches occupied out of the seventy advertised. Our pitch was a good size and we enjoyed the late evening sunshine making use of the pitch opposite. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and perfectly adequate. Stuart and Sheila deserve credit for what they have achieved and the hard work they have put in over the past 30 years, It is a shame that the business appears to have lost some of its former attraction. The pool was a real blessing as the temperatures rose. A peaceful, relaxing (remote) 8 day stay.

* The owners were lovely. * The location, excellent.
* Should ideally be grass tent pitches, not mud. * More staff to support more reasonable bar and restaurant opening times, and general maintenance of site. * Washroom lighting should be operable at anytime of the day.
The quiet position was great.
The mud-based pitch resulted in 2 weeks of continuous cleaning of footwear and floor coverings.
